Our client is one of the UK's fastest growing eyewear suppliers, their portfolio includes luxury British designer brands which complement their trend-led house collections.

They are currently looking for a Junior Product Buyer to be responsible for developing and launching products for their house brands and luxury licensed brands. They have an ambitious and growing workload hence the role will have an administrative elementto it, so excellent organisational skills will be essential.

**Key Responsibilities for the Junior Buyer also include**:

- Managing critical path and delivery schedules
- Liaising with suppliers and developing products and collections from briefs
- Identifying and interpreting trends to create products suitable for the optical market
- Stock control, negotiating and monitoring cost prices
- Sourcing and developing new suppliers
- Developing cases and POS materials
- Attending major eyewear exhibitions and conferences internationally on behalf of the company

**Skills and Experience needed for the Junior Buyer**:

- Degree educated and a competent user of the Microsoft Office Suite
- An eye for exceptional design with a knowledge and understanding of luxury brands and quality
- Proven track-record of introducing fresh and innovative ideas
- Strong organisational and analytical skills
- Ideally fluent in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
- Experience or placement within a buying / purchasing role would be advantageous

In return the salary on offer is £25k to £30k plus 1 day remote working per week and flexible start and finish times. Plus your birthday off, health & wellness benefits, charity & sports events.
