**Subsidence** - Experienced Claims Handler Opportunity

We are looking for someone with subsidence experience.

**Customer Service**:

- Provide excellent customer service
- Answer first point of contact calls and subsidence claims calls
- Advise policyholders on general queries and insurance claims issues for subsidence and underground pipes claims
- Negotiating settlement of claims both verbally and in writing
- Constantly seeking improvements in how we deliver excellent customer service
- Display active listening skills on every call
- Use of good questioning to establish a valid claim
- Build rapport with all callers and departments
- Managing multiple activities by prioritising important and urgent tasks whilst maintaining the focus on the policyholder

**Proactivity**:

- Have a can-do attitude and positive approach towards change
- Manage a portfolio of claims through prioritising by individual circumstances from set up to settlement

**Knowledge**:

- Set policyholders accurate expectations for their claims journey
- Identify any potential fraud triggers
- Complete all relevant steps when setting up claims
- Become knowledgeable in our policy wordings/products

**Experience** in an insurance Subsidence Claims Handling role, OR Minimum - 2 years’ experience in another Technical Claims Handling role (Escape of Water would be sufficient). OR Loss Adjuster with actual expertise of handling Subsidence claims - demonstrated via CV and references OR Structural Engineer with relevant qualifications and demonstrable experience.

**Salary**: £25,000.00-£27,000.00 per year
