**Key Responsibilities**:
Within our Flexible Learning Division we have a range of 50+ courses that individuals can complete. These are self-led level 2 courses which are fully funded for our learners.
Due to the expansion of our Flexible Learning Team and our course offering, we are now looking for a Flexible Learning Tutor to join us on a full time basis, within the North East area.
**DUTIES**
- Provide support, feedback and guidance to learners on programme ensuring regular contact is maintained
- Carry out assessments and provide robust feedback confirming assessment decision in accordance with the Awarding Body requirements (a sample of the assessments will be assessed by our team of internal moderators)
- Ensure timely achievements are met, including retention and achievement targets by implementing strategies and supporting learners
- Provide robust exit advice to learners as they set personal goals for career progression
- Liaise with the management regarding paper and online assessments and highlight any areas of concern with learners
- Meet with dedicated Tutor Support Officer to discuss learner progress
- Make initial contact with learners within 3 days of allocation and maintain regular contact
- Address any actions identified by the internal moderation team within a period of 10 days
- Attend mandatory standardisation meetings and other meetings where required

- Principles of Customer Service (VRQ)
- Principles of Team Leading
- Understanding Data Protection and Data Security
- Understanding Mental Health First Aid and Mental Health Advocacy in the Workplace
**ESSENTIAL CRITERIA**

- Preferable Level 3 teaching qualification or higher
- Communication skills, organisational skills and able to work as part of a team
- Background knowledge and vocational experience in the Digital or Business sector

**Essential Criteria**:
Learners are at the centre of everything we do so we are committed to safeguarding and promoting their welfare.
