Working under the direct supervision of the lead practice nurse and as part of the practice multidisciplinary team and strictly in accordance with specific practice guidelines and protocols, the post-holder will be responsible for performing venepuncture to obtain blood samples from patients only as requested by the clinical team, to the entitled patient population. In addition, the phlebotomist will be expected to support the nursing team on an as required basis. Please see attached Job description for more information.
