Imaging Assistant

Spire Harpenden Hospital has an exciting and rewarding part time opportunity for an Imaging Assistant to join their established team. You will be joining a department that practises some of the most advanced treatment using modern state of the art equipment. Offering everything from screening and rehabilitation through to advanced surgical procedures in specialist fields such as neurology, orthopaedic, oncology and cosmetics.

**Duties and responsibilities**
- Assist the multi-disciplinary team in Radiography by providing an efficient and sensitive supporting role
- Assisting in maintaining agreed stock levels of consumable items.
- Preparing and assisting with general and specialised procedures including biopsies.
- To assist in CT/Fluoroscopy when required.
- Ensuring a clean and hygienic working environment
- Preparing patients for treatment.
- Assist patients with mobility issues.
- Be at the forefront of providing exceptional customer service to our valued patients
- Identifying and reporting any significant changes to that might affect a patient’s health and wellbeing to the appropriate person
- Handling of equipment, medical records and specimens

**Who we're looking for**
- An experienced, and preferably Care Certificate and NVQ level 3 qualified, Healthcare Assistant
- You will need outstanding communication skills, and you will be able to follow instructions precisely
