VantageUAV is seeking a Thermal/ RGB Drone Pilot to join an established and growing team.

The assistance of an experienced survey team enables us to offer a drone package combined with the latest survey techniques to ensure the accuracy of our data. Our images and videos are all processed to a professional grade.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- To ensure compliance with VantageUAV’s operational authorisation, methodology and all associated legislation governing UAV flights.
- To communicate with the police, air traffic control and other relevant bodies.
- To operate a UAV in challenging environments such as urbanized areas and over road and rail infrastructure.
- To complete pre-flight planning and checks to ensure flight plans are appropriate and that flights can be completed safely and without incident.
- To complete on-site maintenance of UAVs as required and in line with VantageUAV’s UAV maintenance policy.
- Ensures all documentation is easy to find on Sharepoint
- Project Management experience required to ensure projects are met to agreed timescales / Contingencies in place

**YOU MUST HAVE**:
To be successful in this role, you’ll need to be able to operate a drone in accordance with commercial regulations, collecting accurate aerial survey data and photographs. This means you’ll need to know how to write reports using derived technical data to support the survey of the asset.

You should have a strong understanding of IT systems and safe systems of work and have Industrial, Commercial, or Domestic building services experience,

You will be required to travel across various sites, which means handling a wide and varied workload, but you should be able to prioritise and manage daily responsibilities, carrying out tasks without immediate supervision in the most efficient and economical manner.

Be willing and able to take responsibility over tasks which means being a good team player, exercising problem solving and decision-making skills whether on your own or within a group
