Your new role
The Trainee Health and Safety Officer will support the company policy on adhering to all Health & Safety regulations by establishing and implementing processes & systems in all aspects of Environmental Health & Safety. You will liaise with employees throughoutthe business to promote and maintain a strong culture of Environmental, Health & Safety within the organisation. The Trainee Health and Safety Officer will monitor compliance, oversee pollution prevention, and observe unsafe conditions with a purpose to preventingaccidents. You will occasionally be responsible for supporting new projects at other locations, as required Once training has bene completed..
What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this role it is essential for you to have at least 1-2 years Manufacturing experience and a 3rd Level qualification in a relevant discipline. Ideally you will have a Health & Safety accreditation, such as NEBOSH or IOSH. You will have avalid UK driving licence as this role may require some additional local travel.
