**About the Job**
As a social media executive, your primary responsibility is to develop and implement effective social media strategies to increase brand awareness, and engagement, and drive customer acquisition and retention. You will be responsible for managing and executing social media campaigns across LinkedIn, Instagram, and YouTube to meet the company's marketing and communication goals.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Social Media Strategy Development: Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies aligned with the company's overall marketing objectives. Identify target audiences, select appropriate platforms, and define content themes and messaging. You will work with the head of marketing and the content manager to create this.
- Content Creation and Management: Create engaging and compelling content for social media channels, including text, images, videos, and other media formats. Monitor and manage content calendars, ensuring regular and consistent posting across platforms.
- Community Management: Monitor and engage with online communities and followers on various social media platforms. Respond to comments, inquiries, and messages in a timely and professional manner. Build relationships and foster a positive brand image.
- Social Listening and Analytics: Monitor social media channels for industry trends, customer feedback, and brand mentions. Analyse social media metrics and generate reports to measure the success of campaigns and provide actionable insights for improvement.
- Influencer and Partnership Management: Identify and collaborate with relevant influencers, bloggers, and industry partners to amplify brand reach and engagement. Build and maintain relationships, negotiate partnerships, and track performance.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends: Stay informed about emerging social media trends, tools, and best practices. Continuously explore new platforms, features, and technologies to enhance social media strategies and campaigns.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams and create content for internal use, such as content used across slack channels to promote birthdays/anniversaries etc.
**Qualifications**:
- Strong understanding of various social media channels, their features, and best practices.
- Proficiency in using social media management and analytics tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Creative thinking and the ability to generate engaging content.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Up-to-date with current trends in social media, digital marketing, and popular culture.
