Part-time Secretary

Our Northwich office is currently looking to recruit a part-time secretary.
**Hours**: Monday and Tuesday 8.30 - 5.00.
**Purpose of Role**: To provide a high quality administration service to the Firm and its fee earners.
**Responsible to**: Partner
**Experience**: Experience in a legal environment is preferred although not essential.
**Knowledge / Skills**:
- Appropriate manual dexterity and keyboard skills.
- Communicate effectively and courteously and convey information accurately.
- Work calmly and accurately under pressure.
- Prioritise tasks.
- Willingness and ability to learn new technology
**Qualities**:
- Discretion and ability to work in a confidential environment
- Pleasant, approachable and polite
- Flexible and adaptable
- Ability to work as a part of a team
- Highly motivated
- Being able to maintain a high professional standards, confidence and integrity.
**Duties and Responsibilities may include**:
- Transcription of digital dictation and copy work.
- Making appointments for clients either in person or by telephone.
- Taking calls and providing cover for reception as and when required
- Filing correspondence and paperwork.
- Inputting information provided by fee earner onto the database as required
- Opening new files at the direction of the fee earner.
- Such other tasks as the firm may from time to time require.
