**General KS1 Teaching Assistant | West Drayton | Immediate Start**

We are currently recruiting for a KS2 Teaching Assistant to join the team in a mainstream primary school in the West Drayton, London Borough of Hillingdon.**

They believe all children deserve the highest quality of education and care regardless of background or ability. They are looking for someone who is patient, passionate about education, and will have a firm but fair approach.

As a **KS1 Teaching Assistant,** your responsibilities will involve leading literacy and numeracy interventions in small groups with children that require extra support, you will need to tailor the intervention lessons to suit the children's varying abilities, set targets and attain those targets.

**KS1 Teaching Assistant Expectations**:

- Strong academic background
- Excellent communication skills
- **Confidently lead interventions e.g. numeracy/literacy/reading**:

- **Needs to be confident running group and one-to-one interventions**:

- **Need to be flexible and be able to work with SEN such as ASD,ADHD and SEMH**:

- Have a can-do attitude
- Ability to take initiative and be proactive
- Promote positive social, emotional and personal development
- **3+ months experience in a classroom setting**:

- **Knowledge of the primary school curriculum**

**Salary**: £85.00-£100.00 per day

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
