Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at a lovely modern primary school in West Drayton.
About the Role
- This is a full-time position, working Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 3:30pm.
- The successful candidate will work closely with the lead teacher to support pupils with special education needs, including those with ASD, ADHD, and behavioural issues.
- Responsibilities include assisting with lesson plans, engaging in playground activities, and providing individualised support to pupils.
- You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records and attending review meetings as needed.
Key Skills and Requirements
- A minimum of [£20,000 - £27,000] per annum (£85 - £95 per day), depending on experience.
- Friendly and compassionate approach when interacting with pupils and colleagues.
- Patient and resilient attitude when working with challenging behaviour.
- Sensitivity and understanding when supporting pupils with complex needs.
- Excellent verbal communication skills, both written and spoken.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
