Accommodation Project Worker

Job description

We are looking for a creative, motivated and approachable individual to join our team, supporting our mission to enable young people to use their strengths to live a life that is safe, full of health and opportunity, and in a home that they deserve.

You will work within the Housing Team to deliver an effective Housing service to young people who are facing homelessness or are unsafe, maintaining existing partnerships and building a network of relationships with relevant external agencies to increae accommodation options for young people.

You should be experienced in delivering specialist housing management services within the youth and community or other relevant sector, of managing a case list of multiple clients with complex needs and have a proven track record of progressing vulnerable people into stable accommodation and supporting them to maintain their tenancies. You will be required to work regularly from both our day centre in Camden and at our various accommodation projects across London.

**Salary**: The starting salary for the role is £30,000. The salary scale is: AP26 (£30,000) to AP30 (£33,400). New Horizon Youth Centre contributes up to 6% to a group personal pension scheme.
