We are recruiting for a Logistics Import Coordinator to join an international company in Gillingham, Dorset.

**What you will do**

As a Logistics Import Coordinator you will support the day-to-day operations of the department, assuring all regulatory requirements and deadlines are met.
- Process and distribute import documentation to freight forwarders and custom agents.
- Analyse documentation for tariff and duty rate adjustments and make sure government regulations are followed.
- Assist in customs clearance and transportation for other sites within the UK.
- Establish good communication channels with freight forwarders and internal customers to ensure progress updates and information on inbound shipments.
- Assist in customs clearance and transportation for other sites within the UK.
- Update management systems with shipment schedules and other info and coordinate deliveries.
- Carry out general admin duties.

**Skills and experience for Logistics Import Coordinator**
- Excellent verbal, written communication, and active listening skills
- Accurate and attention for detail
- Minimum 5 GCSE’s (or equivalent) Math’s & English grade C or above
- Sound organisational & decision-making skills.
- Customer & service focused mindset.
- Team focused work ethic.
- Basic to Good MS Office skills.
- Imports process knowledge is an advantage.

**What you will receive**
