Class People have a great new opportunity for a teaching assistant at a well-known Primary Academy in Easton, Bristol. Both roles are working as a General Teaching Assistant In KS1 and primarily reception classes.

The role is due to start on September 1st. This is a part time role, working five mornings a week, and would suit a Teaching Assistant looking to fit work around family responsibilities.

The school focuses heavily on teaching students the importance of independent thinking skills. Taking a caring approach, the school offers the chance to engage in extra-curricular activities and educational visits to various institutions within the community.
- Experience of supporting students of various primary ages
- Some understanding, or willingness to gain knowledge of simple SEN provisions
- A positive and sensitive approach, putting the needs of the students above all else
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- The ability to take the initiative; adapting working styles to suit the needs of the students on the day, displaying a clear understanding of the different ways children learn
- Enthusiasm and creativity while working in a team engaging to support students of all primary ages and abilities.
