**Project Reporting Assistant**

**The Client**

Our client is a world leader in providing specialist field joint coating services to the onshore and offshore services for all major pipeline construction contractors (Oil & Gas) who have earned a reputation for quality, performance, reliability in the services of the company.

**The Role**

This role will support the Project Accountant and Commercial Team with the overall financial control, accounting and reporting of all commercial projects. This role is a vital supportive function, liaising with multiple aspects of the business to ensure accuracy for the project accounting & commercial information, as well as providing regular updates to the finance team on cashflow for the business.

**Key Responsibilities**

**Contracts Administration**
- Prepare monthly consolidation of daily site reports in agreed format to support in raising invoices
- Prepare weekly receivables report along with details of any disputes or queries & proactively chase trade debt & resolving disputes a timely manner.
- Build positive relationships with our clients to improve opportunities of repeat business and additional scopes

**Project Accounting & Reporting**
- Responsible for project set up and maintenance set up of new projects & maintenance in SAP
- Committed cost reviews
- Project budget tracker reviews - liaising with relevant team members for updates/feedback
- Support finance team with Cashflow analysis
- Regular reviews of site stock valuations - working alongside Supply and Logistics teams
- Month end support including sales order reviews, journal preparation (this is not exhaustive and will develop with time)

**Requirements**:

- Understanding of organisational accounting concepts
- Aptitude for analysing financial data and generating accurate reports in a timely manner
- Attention to detail and proven ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement
- Strong analytical thinking and a detail-oriented mindset
- Project reporting understanding
- Advanced user of Excel including Pivot Tables is mandatory
