An opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Clinical Embryologist to join the IVF team at the Wolfson Fertility Centre (Imperial College Healthcare Trust) to work in our state of the art lab using the latest equipment and offering comprehensive assisted conception services.

The position will involve participation in the weekend/out of hours roster and would suit someone with excellent team playing skills and attention to detail.

This position is for full time fixed term (one year). Applications may close earlier once we receive a suitable number of applicants.

The Clinical Embryologist participates in the provision of laboratory services for assisted conception treatments, together with diagnostic andrology and cryobanking of gametes/embryos, according to all relevant professional Codes of Conduct.
The Clinical Embryologist maintains full and proper records in compliance with prevailing legislations, as well as participating in data analysis and audit.
The Clinical Embryologist must practise using effective self-management of workload, whilst working both within the embryology team and the wider ACU team. In addition to embryological duties, it is expected that the Clinical Embryologist will provide limited supervision of trainees (under the guidance of the Senior Clinical Embryologist), as well as taking responsibility for a defined area of work under the direction of the Senior Embryologist and/or Lead Embryologist.
