**An exciting opportunity for a Training Coordinator to join our central HR function as part of the Learning & Development team dedicated to supporting colleague’s individual professional and personal development goals and objectives.**

AmcoGiffen is a reputable, established and growing expanding engineering specialist organisation, responsible for maintaining and improving transport infrastructure throughout the UK with a varied portfolio of exciting and innovative engineering projects including planned and reactive maintenance & renewals works.
You will be joining an experienced team of HR and L&D professionals supporting business units, projects and contracts across the UK.
**The Role**
As Training Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role within the central HR function as a key ember of the L&D (Learning & Development) team. You will be responsible for producing and monitoring training requirements and documentation to comply with legislation and policy working closely with a range of internal and external stakeholders including internal customers, managers as well as external training providers, clients and awarding bodies.
The HR function and Learning & Development team operate within a fast-paced, customer focussed environment, providing a high level, professional HR service to circa 1500 employees throughout England, Scotland & Wales.
- Your day to day responsibilities will be diverse and will include but not be limited to:
- Manage the interface with training providers.
- Manage the interface with Sentinel (NwR safety critical competencies).
- Ensure compliance with all safety critical systems.
- Issuing (or oversee the issuing) of Track Visitor Permits (TVP’s).
- Attend audits as required to demonstrate compliance with the relevant areas of training.
- Daily document preparation, transmission and recording the associated data.
- General administration including letters and other communications.
- Complete training information packs to clients inclusive of all schedules and relevant documentation.
- File training awards.
- File quotations.
- Collate the relevant information for the training team.
- Monitoring deadlines.
- Maintain training records (e.g. trainee lists٫ schedules٫ attendance sheets).
- Prepare reports on training activities and results.
- Help vendors and participants interact with each other٫ when necessary.
- Ensure the compliance of all training activities with established policies and best practices.
- Prioritise and co-ordinate workloads.
- Other tasks as may from time to time be deemed necessary and are authorised by line managers.
**Requirements**:
To excel in this role, you will have previous experience as an Administrator in an HR environment. You will also be required to meet to following criteria / expectations:
- Experience in a training coordination or administration role
- Experience working with the Sentinel system would be advantageous
- Knowledge and experience of rail industry safety critical competencies and requirements.
- Be numerate and accurate.
- Communicate with openness and respect.
- Experience and ability to work confidentially with sensitive information is crucial.
- Able to pass on information accurately/securely.
- Good time management / organisational skills
- Experience with Cascade HR system (beneficial but not essential)
