As a very high capacity New Zealand-style eatery, coffee is at the core of our business, and the name Tamper has become synonymous with good coffee in Sheffield. Working alongside a strong team of fellow passionate baristas, this is an opportunity to work with industry leading equipment and an ever changing roster of world class coffees from Ozone and Hasbean coffee roasters. We want to be forever ingrained as Sheffield’s number one coffee spot, and we want you to be a part of it.

We are seeking baristas with at least **two years** experience in the specialty coffee industry, (or a passion and skills that suggest that experience)
You will need to be proficient at steaming milk, dialling-in different espresso beans, keeping your workstation clean, pouring at least basic latte art and have a working knowledge of all of the common specialty coffee drinks. Experience of varied equipment and their maintenance is a plus This is a fast paced environment, not for the faint hearted, but extremely gratifying. Ongoing training is provided at all levels.

The role will also involve some general service and table waiting responsibilities so make sure you can carry some plates and remember table numbers Training for this will also be provided so all that’s required here is a friendly personality and a willingness to learn.
