**About you**

Do you want to make a difference to the lives of people affected by blood cancer?

The Blood Cancer Alliance is looking for an experienced administrator to support the development of the charity. You will need to be a confident communicator with people at all levels, and an experienced minute taker and meeting organiser with a high level of attention to detail. You will also have finance admin/bookkeeping experience and a high level of IT skills.

You will have the ability to multi-task, prioritise and meet tight deadlines, and be highly motivated when working alone or as part of a team.

**About the role**

If you are successful, you will be providing administrative support, taking minutes and organising all aspects of a busy programme of regular meetings for the Alliance.

Your responsibilities will include keeping records of income and expenditure, liaising and communicating with members and completing returns, trustee reports and other documentation with support from the governance and finance trustee.

You will be dealing with queries from external stakeholders and members and liaising with the CEOs and policy group.

This is an excellent opportunity for the right individual to develop and build their experience in health charities.

The successful individual will be employed by Myeloma UK, a member of the Blood Cancer Alliance, but will work independently.
