Reset living are recruiting an experienced senior manager (minimum 5 years experience of running a similar facility) to oversee the running of this semi-independent home in South London. Providing care 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, for a maximum of 7 maleyoung adults. The Manager will be responsible for coordination, delivery and overall care for residents 16 - 20 years old.

The role is to oversee the facility and offer and provide young people daily life skills in preparation for independent living; cooking, budgeting, education, training or employment. Delivery will be centred around structured key work sessions. These sessionswill aim to promote the life skills of young people and support their transition into adulthood.

- Will have a minimum 5 years experience of running a similar facility.
- Have in-depth operational management knowledge and proven capability of running a successful semi-independent living home for young adult males.
- A full understanding of the LA care provision and appointment process with good long standing relationship history of working with LA social care teams, case workers placement officers, social workers and referral teams.
- They will have excellent interpersonal skills with empathy and understanding for residents and their sometimes-complex needs.
- They will be fully conversant with child protection safeguarding policies and protocols including CQC guidance.
- They will be IT literate and a full clean driving licence.
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Managing the semi-independent facility in South Norwood.
- Monitor young person’s ability to engage with everyday living and develop skills where necessary by supporting their identified needs.
- Support young person in settling within the community and accessing local resources.
- Support and assist the young person around budgeting money, grocery shopping and administration of a weekly subsistence allowance for residents.
- Encourage the young person to engage and take part with positive activities within the community, building on relationships and developing social networks.
- Maintain accurate record/ log keeping.
- Oversee and be a key component in management strategy for expansion process of company.
- Oversee health and safety regulations
- Be a key component in the expansion of the company.
- Work with your line manager and the young person to develop a structured programme of key work sessions based upon the young person’s individual support needs and focussed on developing their self-confidence and esteem.
- Promote safe, consistent and understandable boundaries with the young person in conjunction with a 'Young Person’s Agreement’.
- Scrutinise monthly progress reports regarding the young person’s progress which are submitted to the placing authority.
- Work in partnership with other agencies and support the young people to attend meetings with other professionals. You will be required to attend admission and planning meetings for LAC and UASC ensuring all relevant paperwork and formalities are complete.
- Ensuring good practice in maintaining and observing resident confidentiality and GDPR regulation.
- Attend and conduct staff meetings and training sessions as and when required.
- You will be expected to take part and attend structured supervision sessions at least once a month.

**Work Experience**

**Qualifications**
- Degree level or NVQ Level 5

**Work Conditions**
- Ability to lone work with individual young people
- Commit to 38 hours per.
- Sleeping in duties on rota where required.
- Willing to work additional hours to cover sickness and holidays.
- Willing to work so Bank Holidays & Christmas Holidays.
- Have good medical health.
