**Trainee Maintenance Coordinator**

Joju Solar, one of the leading solar PV specialists in the UK, is offering an exciting Trainee Maintenance Coordinator role. As a Trainee Maintenance Coordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of solar PV systems by providing monitoring and maintenance services. With over 15 years of experience in the industry and having installed over 4,000 solar arrays, Joju Solar is committed to building a future powered by the sun and reducing pollution and conflict caused by traditional energy sources.

As a Trainee Maintenance Coordinator, you will receive extensive on-the-job training and support from our experienced team. This includes hands-on practical training, as well as theoretical training on solar, battery, and electric vehicle charge point systems. We will also provide training courses from our suppliers, including Tesla Powerwall, SolarEdge, and MyEnergi.

Once trained, you will have the opportunity to carry out on-site and remote fault finding and resolution, monitor system performance, budget for corrective works, organise and manage remedial site work, and maximise the generation and CO2 savings from our work. You will work closely with our Operations and Maintenance Manager, Project Managers, Installers, and Design Engineers, and liaise with customers, installers, and suppliers.

If you have an interest in tinkering and fixing things, experience in the construction sector, electrical experience, project management experience, and/or work experience where customer service is important, it will be a plus. Volunteers in the environmental or community energy sector or those interested/experienced in software and networking are also welcome to apply.

**Required**
- Science, maths, engineering or electrical/electronic degree or training
- An interest in renewable energy and green technology
- IT proficiency
- Problem solving skills
- Clear communication
- Willingness to travel to site
- Full driving licence

**Preferable**
- Hands on and Practical
- Project Management Experience
- Experience in the construction sector
- Electrical Experience
- Work experience were customer service is important
- Awareness of safe methods of work
- Volunteering in the environmental or community energy sector
- Interest/experience in software and networking
- Interest in tinkering and fixing things

**Our training will include**
- Understanding of solar, battery and electric vehicle charge point systems
- Domestic electrical systems
- 1 week practical electrical training course
- IET 18thEdition
- Onsite training with our installation teams
- Supplier online and in person training courses including Tesla Powerwall, SolarEdge, MyEnergi
- Extensive in-house theoretical and practical training

**Once trained you will be able to**
- Carry out on-site and remote fault finding and resolution
- Carry out basic networking corrections
- Monitor system performance
- Budget for corrective works
- Organise and manage remedial site work
- Maximise the generation and CO2 savings from our work
- Liaise with customers, installers and suppliers

**Location**

Generally working from home with the occasional site visit and trip to the Oxford Office.

Close to Oxford, Buckinghamshire, Hertfordshire, Berkshire, North and West London

**Salary and Benefits**:
**Salary**: £24 - £27k (increasing once trained)

Hours: 35 hours per week, with flexible start/finish times.

Holidays: 22 days plus statutory holidays. Increasing by 1 day per year up to 25 days.

Contract: Permanent.

**Salary**: £24,000.00-£27,000.00 per year
