We have an exciting opportunity for a Technical Lead to join our Warehouse Team to support logistics operations and deliveries to our fleet of vessels sailing to Jersey, Guernsey, St Malo and Cherbourg.

**The Role**

Some of the Key Responsibilities for this role include:

- To ensure the safe and efficient receipt, storage and dispatch of goods in a timely manner and in accordance with all relevant HMRC legislation and Company procedures.
- To maintain the working safety culture throughout the warehouse operation.
- To ensure the timely operation of all daily warehouse functions and ensuring the warehouse meets and exceeds company expectations.
- To ensure the warehouse operation meets and exceeds company expectations.
- Monitor stock control and ensure stock takes are completed in a timely manner as directed.
- Proficiency in the use of the warehouse Fork-Lift Trucks and all other warehouse equipment, ensuring all are operated in a safe manner.
- Cover for other warehouse leads during absence

**About You**

Previous manual handling experience is essential and as the job can be physically demanding, we also look for those with resilience and a determination to continually perform well.

Knowledge or previous experience in a Marine Engineering would be preferable.
