**GENERAL SUMMARY**

To conduct the inspection of all pump component parts to the standards explained in the Bill of Materials.

**PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS)**
- Inspection and recording of component dimensions in accordance with the engineering drawings dna specifications for each pump component.
- Recording and documenting of component deficiencies via our NCR system
- An ability to understand and interpret complex engineering drawings for dimensional and visual acceptance.

**EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE**
- An ability to use a wide variety of metrology equipment and have experience in a similar environment or industry. They should have a basic knowledge of computers and good communication skills.
- Manufacturing experience, HS&E awareness.
- A working knowledge of CMM's, ie FARO, Ferranti, CMM along with an understanding of NDE processes and qualifications including ASME (American Society of Mechanical Engineering) Inspection certificates Level 1 & 2 and PCN Level 2 - Visual Inspection for welding would be an advantage.
