An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full time (37.5 hours per week) Band 3 Rehabilitation Assistant to join our dynamic team of Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists within the Integrated Primary Care (IPC) Therapy Team based at Gospel Oak Health Centre.
The Gospel Oak team provides multidisciplinary intervention, through home and community based assessment and treatment to patients with a broad range of physical health needs such as falls, fractures and arthritis. Your caseload may include older adults who may also present with cognitive difficulties. We are looking for someone who is caring and able to communicate to a high standard with a broad range of patients with differing needs. Being flexible is key.
Band 3 Rehabilitation Assistants work closely with qualified therapy staff to deliver the rehabilitation programmes by completing delegated tasks - on a one to one basis within the client’s home and also community settings such as resource centres and care homes. Rehabilitation assistants also lead and participate in group sessions around falls management and prevention.
You will have an interest in working as part of a team but also must be able to work independently. You will have the opportunity to develop a your skills and interests and there will be opportunities to participate in new initiatives and ways of working. Delivering compassionate care is paramount to the role.
