We have a great opportunity for 2 Despatch Shift Supervisors to join our team at our Riverside Bakery Site in Nottingham.

This is a fantastic role for a natural leader Your role will be to supervise the daily work of a designated team and ensure all necessary resources are in place to maintain a safe and effective operation.

**What’s in it for you?**

**Warehouse**:

- Supervise 10x warehouse operatives
- Fork lift
- Order picking
- Stock control (Excel / Lawson)
- Goods in and out
- H&S.

**Transport/Logistics**:

- Supervise and support a team delivering own goods to sites throughout the UK.
- Transport Planning/Vehicle utilisation
- Ensuring and monitoring Legal compliance
- Stand in for Logistics Manager when on Holiday
- supervising the logistics team day to day, prioritising workloads and solving problems effectively
- coordinating and processing outbound and inbound shipments using the relevant software and databases
- Supervising booking in and distributing received goods
- loading and unloading vehicles
- picking and moving stock between warehouses - Riverside and Tottle
- capturing and analysing data and using this to drive improvements
- communicating efficiently and effectively with key contacts

**What qualifications and experience are we looking for in our Warehouse Supervisor?**
- You will have experience of stock and warehouse management, logistics and operational efficiency.
- Experience of working within the food manufacturing sector or FMCG

**Skills required**:

- Ability to support, motivate and coach staff to maximise individual and team performance
- Ability to use initiative and maximise resources to source effective solutions
- Ability to work to set targets and deadlines
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- supervisory skills, as well as being able to work effectively within a team environment
- working knowledge of Customs procedures post BREXIT would be advantageous
- an organised, detail conscious Be well organised, detail conscious and confident in working with computerised systems
- Have a strong sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines.
- Excellent organization skills and attention to detail.
- A calm, efficient and enthusiastic demeanour, even on the busiest of days.
- MS Office proficiency (Word, Outlook, Excel)
