**Reporting to the Program Manager of the Fuel Business Unit the Project Controller shall be responsible**
**you will provide commercial expertise for the delivery of a number of Fuel growth projects within the UK.**

**Responsible for the compilation, validation and presentation of project control deliverables as required by the project manager and senior leadership stakeholders.**

**Your Day to Day**:

- Collaboration with the Westinghouse Business Units teams to support the business present a high quality output to the internal stakeholders inclusive of project schedules, project plans, deliverables, risk registers period end reports and will support the internal and external auditing of project performance
- The role will require close liaison with the project, finance, and legal representatives withing Westinghouse. It will also require the co-ordination and presentation of Westinghouse performance to external stakeholders
- The provision of accurate and timely commercial reports and advice to the management team whilst ensuring the contract achieves the appropriate commercial targets
- Management of risk and opportunities during delivery of the project’s objectives
- Able to pull cost and earned value reports from SAP and other sources and develop a portfolio style report
- Supporting the delivery project management team in assessing robustness and validity of subcontractor programmes and progress claimed
- Visit to Springfields to meet with the Project Delivery Teams and Finance

**What you need to be successful in this role**:

- Educated to BSc in Quantity Surveying (or other equivalent commercially related discipline)
- At least 5 years of experience of working in high value high complexity commercial and project environment.
- UK Government and Nuclear sector experience is desirable but not essential
- Member of RICS or other professional project management institution
- Strong analytical, communication and team skills are essential to be successful in this role.
- The role will require site visits, meetings with vendors and occasionally with customers.
- Ability to interpret complex project scenarios and provide self-developed proposals, problem solving and best possible outcome proposals.
- Has maintains access to and credibility with key stakeholders both internally and externally.
- Combines realism with openness and clarity of expression to communicate the objectives effectively.
- Has integrity, resilience, and the ability to think things through.
- Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with other members of the project teams and external providers
- Good knowledge financial regulation and is able to distinguish between capital and revenue accountancy rules
- Flexible approach to working, self-motivated, and willing to travel to customer’s or vendors premises
- Training and experience in the use of SAP and Primavera P6 would be advantageous
- Proficient in Microsoft Applications including Word, Powerpoint & Excel
- Able to perform quantitative risk analysis of schedules would be advantageous
- Proficient in the use of Power BI would be advantageous
