This school in East London are looking to recruit an Experiened, PA for their Head Teacher.This is a temporary assignment, with an immediate start,on an ongoing basis.

The school is close to public transport links including underground, DLR and numerous bus routes

The duties will involve the following:
**To act as personal assistant to the Headteacher**

To support the efficient and effective running of the school through interaction with staff, students, parents, visitors and outside agencies

To contribute to Governors working parties and committees, giving appropriate advice, taking minutes and preparing reports as required

To lead on the use and development of computer aided administration within the school, ensuring that all records are kept accurately and comply with data protection legislation.

Managing the head’s diary arranging appointments, organising meetings, and providing daily schedules for the head as required, ensuring an efficient use of time and resources

Take responsibility for written and verbal communications to and from the head promptly and effectively, resolving matters where possible and maintaining confidentiality at all times

Prepare documentation for the approval of the Headteacher, as requested

Ensure information is user friendly and accessible to those concerned

Prepare agendas for the head’s meetings and take minutes as directed by the Headteacher

Liaise with the leadership team and other members of staff to ensure the head is fully informed and supported in the smooth running of the school

Ensure welcome and hospitality for the head’s visitors

Check to ensure key tasks delegated by the Headteacher are completed by staff within deadlines
