**Role responsibilities**

The Senior Finance Business Partner will provide partnered support to the Directorates, working closely with Directors, budget owners and Project Managers to provide financial support to strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting, and will support change projects, business cases and be a trusted advisor.
- Responsible for the production of monthly management accounts, outturn forecast for the Commercial Directorate through management of month end process and postings, review, reporting and controls to ensure spend is within the Welsh Government (WG) remit funding.
- Providing effective stewardship of funds, and financial and commercial advice and partner the leads within the Directorate to inform key decisions and provide ongoing insight into financial performance including development reporting and dashboards to meet the needs of the organisation.
- Support the development of business cases and provision of proposals to the WG, including Ministerial Advice notes and papers as well as the ongoing management of TfW’s remit against operational and strategic risks and opportunities.

**Who we’re looking for**
- Educated to degree level or equivalent.
- CCAB recognised accountancy qualification.
- Demonstrable post qualified experience within a complex, multi-stakeholder and partnership organisation.
- Demonstrable experience of developing and clearly articulating plans and strategies to influence and deliver change.
- Proven ability to maintain stewardship of budgets.
- Experience in developing business cases and commercial plans and strategies.
- Self-motivated, able to work on own initiative and to work collaboratively with others.
- Experience of financial modelling.

**Welsh Language Skills**
