Retail Estates and Facilities Co-ordinator
3 months ago
Responsible to: Trading Manager
- Responsible for: N/A
- Hours: 22.5 per week (we can be flexible on what this looks like over a working week)
- Salary: £14,313.60 (£23,856 FTE)
As a charity, every penny counts at Forget Me Not. Every penny helps us care for children with life-shortening conditions and their families. Every penny helps us deliver outstanding services, support our amazing staff and reach our ambitious goals. And every penny helps us become more sustainable, so we can continue to be here for families long into the future.
As Estates and Facilities Co-ordinator for our retail estate, youll play a central role in making sure our 14 shops and Donation Centre are kept to the high standards we expect and that legislation demands. Not only that but your readiness to jump in and help - if a shop needs a shelf putting up or a member of staff spots a problem with the heating, for example will keep everything running smoothly.
While you might have previous experience as a caretaker or handyperson, you may not have worked anywhere quite like a retail environment before. But dont worry, well give you all the training and support you need. Whats more important is that you bring a willingness to learn and the determination to ensure our shops and Donation Centre are the best they can be.
If youre someone who takes a great deal of pride in your work, and youre excited by this opportunity to make a real difference to local children and families, then we want to hear from you
Youll be working for a great organisation, where we offer real flexible working arrangements, hybrid working options and a host of other benefits including:
- 26 days holiday (rising to 31 with long service) for full time staff (plus Bank Holidays)
- Entry into Peoples Pension
- Enhanced sick pay (after probation)
- Life insurance (3 times salary)
- Financial wellbeing support though app
- Employee Assistance Programme
- Occupational health service
- One to one resilience sessions
- Access to Blue Light Card discount scheme
- Corporate gym membership discounts at Kirklees Active Leisure
- Free sight tests
- Free Flu vaccinations
- Free on-site parking
