Key Responsibilities, Accountabilities or Duties
- Lead the everyday administration of Justice Hub projects, co-ordinating advice clinics and client appointments. Ensure clinics are timetabled appropriately, to achieve a good experience for students, lawyers and clients.
- Lead on the administration of inputting cases onto the case management system (CLIO), ensuring that data is stored confidentially.
- Triage referrals received to assess the suitability for pro bono advice and refer the client's matter to the most appropriate service available or signpost to alternative providers as appropriate.
- Assist with the arrangements for the training of students participating in Justice Hub activities.
- Co-ordinate and develop the Justice Hub social and mainstream media channels consistent with the wider the school's social media and publicity.
- Act in accordance with and promote university policies, procedures and requirements at all times - in particular those relating to health and safety; equality, diversity and inclusion; and information governance.
- A commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion.
- Undertake other such duties as determined by the Justice Hub PS Administrative Co-ordinator, commensurate with the grade of the post.
Essential Knowledge, Skills and Experience
This position is mostly office based. When the business need allows there may be opportunities to undertake hybrid working one day a week. This position can require lone working and so the successful applicant must be confident and comfortable in a lone workingenvironment.
The successful post holder will be able to provide evidence of the following:

- Experience of working with administrative processes, while maintaining necessary confidentiality.
- Ability to work without close supervision, taking action and seeking advice as necessary from colleagues or line manager.
- Good oral and written communication skills with an ability to deal with a wide range of people.
- Flexible and responsive to customer needs and able to provide information and guidance, whilst maintaining confidentiality, particularly with sensitive information.
- Ability to work according to established office procedures in a busy environment.
- Experience of working in a team environment with the ability to be flexible and provide support for colleagues.
- Ability and experience of supervising and coordinating the work of staff/specific tasks and acting as a point of reference.
- Good numeracy skills, attention to detail and the ability to identify and resolve issues effectively.
- Digital literacy, with a familiarity with standard IT packages and social media and a willingness to learn new software packages.
- Experience of providing good customer service
Desirable Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- Some experience of working or volunteering in an advice setting.
- Experience in developing social media plans and maintaining social media channels.
