**About the role**:
To monitor and report on whole-school attendance data, analysing data to identify key areas of concern. To work closely with pupils, staff, parents and carers to reduce levels of absence, and act appropriately when persistent absence becomes a safeguarding issue.

To monitor and induct new pupil admissions to the school. Liaising with new parents on arrival and with Buckinghamshire Council on the number of admitted children and spaces available within the school.

**About you**:

- Committed to the school aims and ethos.
- Have a knowledge and understanding of school attendance and admission procedures and policies.
- Able to give advice to the Headteacher and Governing Body on the areas of specific responsibility.
- Able to form good working relationships with staff, governors, parents, pupils and outside agencies.
- Able to track data to look for trends and identify any patterns.
- Secure and competent in the use of IT systems including a good working knowledge of Microsoft Word/Excel.
- Strong with organisational skills.
