**Marketing Assistant**

**Description**

Base Furnishings Group, one of the largest B2B investor-focused furnishing companies in London, has been providing design-led furniture related services since 2010. We are currently seeking a talented Marketing Assistant with a strong background in graphic design to join our team. Reporting to the Marketing and Communications Manager, you will play a crucial role in our marketing and communications efforts.

As a Marketing Assistant, you will need excellent communication and project management skills, along with a genuine passion for digital marketing and graphic design. You should possess a solid understanding of the interactions between online and offline channels and demonstrate expertise in graphic design. In addition, knowledge of B2B marketing processes, strong time management skills, and the ability to lead communication with internal stakeholders to execute cooperative campaigns are necessary for success in this role. You will be responsible for shaping the corporate message in a friendly manner for our corporate client environment and managing the day-to-day execution of marketing processes across our group of companies. Leading the communication with other marketing teammate and collaborating across company structures to reach consensus on marketing and sales ideas will also be part of your responsibilities. You will deliver best-in-class marketing communication. As a key member of our marketing team, you will ensure that activities are connected with meaningful and relevant results. Flexibility and adaptability to fast-changing environments are crucial abilities for this position, along with strong communication, inventive thinking, and graphic design capabilities. **Within this role you would be required to**

1. Conduct business research for proposed campaigns, scheduling and organising the communication and deployment of marketing campaigns and working towards aligned objective to create relevant and coherent marketing messages for various client groups.

2. Support the creation of corporate marketing content for company websites and other media outlets, leveraging strong graphic design skills to produce visually appealing materials.

3. Champion the client experience, ensuring that our experience principles and tone of voice are consistently reflected across all touchpoints.

4. Deliver clear, timely, and actionable communications that are written with client needs in mind, mobilising stakeholders from across the company to drive ongoing improvements in client-facing marketing activities and providing continuous learning to enhance the client journey.

5. Review company content and materials, ensuring high-quality design and visual appeal.

7. Work with various social media platforms, including, LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, etc.

8. Take an active part in creating and producing basic online marketing materials, leveraging strong graphic design skills.

9. Support sales teams and collaborating with the agency web team and external service suppliers.

10. Support Marketing Manager to create schedules of marketing activities and calendars, managing project scheduling and communication.

11. Protect the brand by monitoring and reporting various market activities.

12. Monitor and report on social media channel performance, analyse competitors, and monitor general market sector activity to ensure we are at the forefront as a brand in terms of content structure and relevance.

13. Regularly analyse the output of marketing activities, report findings, and suggest improvements and actions for future activities.

**Qualifications required**

1. Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, or a related field.

2. Minimum of 2 years of working experience in a marketing role with a strong emphasis on graphic design (experience and passion in the furniture sector or any B2B-focused industry is preferred).

3. Strong graphic design skills (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Adobe Stock, Photoshop), with a proven ability to create visually appealing marketing materials.

4. Proficiency in MS Office suite (included Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel)

5. Experience with CMS platforms will be beneficial.

6. Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.

**Skills required**

1. Portfolio or case studies showcasing commercial or non-commercial marketing work.

2. Strong understanding of marketing principles and best practices, with a focus on digital marketing and techniques.

3. Knowledge of B2B marketing processes and the ability to adapt marketing messages to different target audiences.

4. Proficient in using graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) or other relevant tools.
