**Data Visulisation Engineer - Global Media**

Handle is working with a leading global sports and entertainment media group to recruit an expert Data Visualisation Engineer.

**Your new role**

The key function of your role as the Data Visulisation Engineer will be to provide robust decision support to the company businesses with a focus on content acquisition and distribution, customer acquisition and retention. To fulfil its mission, the AdvancedAnalytics department has deployed an in-house advanced analytics platform which you will have the opportunity to work with.

You will support the Senior Manager, in ensuring that the company's world-class analytics platform is enhanced with business intelligence and dashboards.

**Key responsibilities**
- Develop the dashboard reporting tool and integrate it with the in-house advanced analytics platform.
- Work closely on the maintenance of the dashboard reporting tool with the DataOps of the advanced analytics platform, a role based overseas. this function applies principles from DevOps, Agile Development and the statistical process control to improve thecycle time of extracting value from data analytics. It integrates parts of data integration, data quality, data security, and data privacy with operations.
- Own the business and technical processes related to the management of the dashboard reporting tool.
- Be responsible for delivering reports, including developing various report formats, dashboards, presentations and others, as required by the Senior Manager.
- Collaborate with the Analytics departments to maximise the business value from analytics and drive the reputation of the business's Analytics.

**Skills and experience**
- 3+ years' experience in data reporting or business intelligence engineering with strong experience in end-to-end dashboard/report building.
- Strong UI design skills.
- Demonstrated experience in end-to-end dashboard/report building, and file creation to deployment of the reports/dashboard in productions.
- Demonstrated experience in configuration, management and maintenance of dashboard reporting tools.
- Proven track record of working with business stakeholders to ensure that the dashboards answer their needs.
- Demonstrated experience in designing visually beautiful and easily understandable dashboards and reports.
- Demonstrable understanding of analysis and design methodologies using appropriate tools.
- In-depth understanding of business intelligence and reporting softwares: Microsoft Power BI, Elasticsearch suite including Kibana, Tableau, Looker.
- Understanding of how algorithms work and knowledge of the following programming and scripting languages: SQL, JavaScript. Shell scripts (Linux, Windows) and C++ are a plus.
- Understanding of data modelling and understanding of different data structures and their benefits and limitations under particular use cases.
