TristoneNash are partnering a large Housing Association on their search for a Business Intelligence Manager to specifically work within the analytical side of Development Finance team. The role is a fully remote position.

**Job role**:

- To lead and develop the Programme team to ensure that Home England targets, priorities and standards are met via effective programme management, maximising programme delivery and receipt of grant and other Partners.
- To provide business insight through data interrogation and trend analysis to the Development Programme.
- To administer and ensure satisfactory Compliance Audit outcomes.

**Key Accountabilities**:
Understand the contractual relationship with Homes England for each of their funding programmes and interpret risks and implications for the wider business and Partners involved. Prepare bid strategies for all Homes England funding programmes which are inline with Business Plan and fully support the Growth Strategy.

Provide business insight through strategic data and trend analysis into the Development Programme through the creation and implementation of wide ranging analysis of existing and future Development opportunities.

Provide Business support to Regional Development Managers and Assistant Directors of Development at the earliest stage of new opportunities to ensure they have appropriate information to support the negotiation process for new Development deals. Responsiblefor ensuring relevant and constructive management information is provided to the Senior Development team to inform strategic direction.

Responsible for monitoring and distribution of grant, internal subsidy and RCGF schemes within the Strategic Partnership programme, as well as coordinating information with delivery Partners for reporting to Homes England to provide assurance on deliveryagainst key features of the proposition.

Maintain a detailed knowledge of the Capital Funding Guide and other Homes England guidance documents to ensure audit compliance with all regulatory standards demanded by Homes England.

Manage and implement internal audits and external auditors to meet the requirements of Homes England Compliance Audit. Ensure Development staff are adequately trained on emerging Homes England regulations and process. Coordinate information to ensure theaudit process is run efficiently.

Ensure excellence in data management and management information to inform the Senior Development team (for onward reporting to board) and Homes England on progress against targets and any actions and mitigation as necessary to meet targets. Produce reportsfor Board and/or Executive Management teams as and when required.

Support the implementation of any new agreed processes and provide technical tools to minimise time spent producing reports. Prepare the Reporting Requirements for ADC in conjunction with the Development Programme Manager and Director of Development Operations.Constantly review the Development reporting to ADC to ensure it is fit for purpose and provides its membership with the key pieces of information required.

Be the primary Development contact for the Development Finance Business Partner to facilitate all processes relating to the setting of the Development Budgets, Forecasts and input required by Finance Operations into the Year End Audit of Development activity.Be a finance expert on development activities where they impact on the financial position of the company. Work closely with Corporate Finance and Financial Services to ensure they have the information they need to best support the Development Team.

**Knowledge and Experience**:

- A Degree with MBA or equivalent relevant experience.
- A proven ability to build detailed and insightful models to enhance the decision making process
- A thorough understanding of Finance including accounting and financial audit knowledge of Sales and Development activity
- An awareness of VAT and SDLT
- Advanced Excel modelling Skills
- Experience of working at management level in a complex organisation.
