**Key Responsibilities**:
Utilise your expertise in mental health to support students' emotional well-being and resilience.

Work closely with teachers to identify and address the specific needs of students with mental health challenges.

Provide one-on-one support and guidance to students experiencing emotional or behavioural difficulties.

Assist in implementing strategies and interventions to promote positive mental health within the school community.

Collaborate with psychologists, and other support staff to ensure a holistic approach to student well-being.

Foster a culture of understanding and acceptance, promoting mental health awareness and reducing stigma.

Help create a safe and nurturing environment where students feel valued and supported.

**Requirements**:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in mental health-related field (e.g., psychology, counselling, social work).

Strong understanding of mental health issues affecting children and young people.

Empathy, patience, and excellent communication skills.

Ability to build trusting relationships with students and colleagues.

Experience working with children or young people in educational or mental health settings is advantageous but not essential.

Commitment to promoting positive mental health and well-being in the school community.
