**Member Services Officer/Credit Control visiting Officer**

Our Client is looking for a full time Administration Officer between 2 offices in Cardiff and Barry.

**Essential**
- Own Transport
- knowledge within a customer services environment.
- Administration and/or banking duties.
- Ability to work on own initiative and problem solve.
- Excellent communication skills.
- A good level of education, including strong numeracy skills
- Ability to work outside of normal working hours at peak times and occasional Saturdays
- Ability to effectively manage workload and meet deadlines in a busy environment.
- Experience of debt and/or benefit advice

**Responsibilities**
- Communicate at all levels, expressing ideas and decisions in an open, appropriate and confident manner.
- Remain calm and assertive in challenging situations.
- Able to relay difficult feedback to members and loan applicants supportively and assertively
- Demonstrate competent and effective negotiation skills to enter repayment agreements for recovery of arrears
- Deals sensitively and appropriately with members and applicants.
- Upholds the requirements for confidentiality in all aspects of work, and avoids discriminatory or non-relevant factors in decision making.
- Able to deliveron personal targets and to effectively contribute toteam targets
- Provides regular training, feedback and updates to the wider CVCU team
- Able to maintain sound and detailed financial records accurately.
- Appropriately challenges and questions the status quo in order to identify ways of improving services and performance.
