QS Care are looking for experienced support workers to join our team and work alongside one of our clients based in Worksop. Our client is a day service, which specialises in supporting service users who have a diagnosis of autism and learning disabilities. Previous experience of working with autism and learning disabilities is required for this role.

Responsibilities of this role will include promoting and encouraging independence and assistance with learning day to day life skills. Encouraging engagement and participation in activities of the service user’s choice. You will be required to work on a one-to-one basis with some of the services users from time to time and taking part in activities which maybe outside of the home, however, this will typically be in a group and accompanied by staff from the established team.

**Key Information**:

- Posted: August 17, 2023- Location: Worksop, Nottinghamshire- Reference: 152075- Duration: There is an ongoing need for this role.- Hourly Rate: The rate of pay for this role is £11.00 per hour.- Working Hours: The days for this role will be Monday to Friday 10:00 - 15:00.- Closing Date: 20230913**Experience & Qualifications**:

- Have referenceable work history
- Hold in-date mandatory training certificates (inc. moving and handling, safeguarding vulnerable adults and infection control)
- Hold an enhanced DBS certificate dated within the past 12 months or registered on the update service.
- Have a minimum of 3 months paid UK work experience working within a care setting.
