**Learning Support Assistant**

**Job Type**: Full Time, 37 hours per week (Term Time + 2 weeks)

**Location**: Norwich

**Salary**: £17,793 - £18,112 pro rata per annum (SCP1 £20,058 FTE per annum)

**The Role**

The Academy seeks aspiring and experienced professionals to be part of the SEND Team. The team play a key role in supporting "Every Teacher as a Teacher of SEND", facilitating SEND provision within the school and providing learners with highly personalisedsupport to ensure success in all aspects of development.

Learning Support Assistants are deployed in a variety of ways including delivering in-class support, small group or 1-2-1 interventions, support within their in-house specialist Cognition & Learning base and SEMH Base and so on.

**Mid Year Adjustments - Term Time / Term Time Plus**

Salary payments are averaged out over the 12 months of the Academic Year, if you begin employment with the Trust, during the Academic Year or you have changes made to your contract, a Mid-Year Adjustment calculation will be made. This is to ensure that employeesare only paid for work they will do over the remaining months of the Academic Year. This is worked out based on working days of the term time calendar not an equal division of full months to be worked.
