**Front of House Receptionist**

**St Albans**

**£11,232**

We have an opportunity for a part time receptionist to work as part of a job share team in a distinguished office building in St Albans. You will enjoy delivering a first class and friendly visitor experience. You will also be efficient in office administration and handover processes a part of a job share team.

**Hours and salary**

Monday and Tuesday 8am - 5pm

No weekends, but flexibility is required to provide cover for your job share for holidays and sickness. There is free parking at the building.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Reception responsibilities**
- Being the first point of contact, - the ‘face of the building’, providing a warm and efficient welcome
- Meeting, greeting and registering all visitors to the building, following appropriate processes
- Ensuring the reception area always looks pristine and welcoming
- Managing deliveries, including couriers and post
- General administration as required
- If there is any vacant space, you will support the sales and leasing agents, ensuring vacant area is looking pristine and ensure a hospitable welcome to potential new occupiers
- You will also develop a good understanding of the local area and develop a local amenities information file

**Building management**
- Managing and reporting any maintenance or building issues and keeping the off-site Building Manager informed
- Managing contractors visiting the building to undertake regular maintenance or specific repairs and keeping a progress log
- You will pay particular attention to the security of the building
- You will produce a weekly update report for key stakeholders

**Tenant engagement**
- You will research and introduce (when applicable) concierge/added value initiatives - aimed at delivering a community vibe and offering activities to increase enjoyment during the working day. This may include negotiating freebies or local discounts with businesses and pop-up activity.
- You will develop a newsletter (when appropriate) for tenants to communicate such initiatives.

**Skills, Knowledge and Expertise**:

- You will previously have worked in a front of house reception role or customer service, marketing or sales environment.
- You will be personable and proactive with a confident manner and able to deliver impeccable customer service.
- You will be proactive, self-motivated and willing to organise the additional concierge or added value activities as part of the reception role.
- You will have excellent written and oral communication skills and be a competent Microsoft Office / PC systems user
- You will enjoy working independently but also as part of the reception job share
