**Purpose of the Role**
To maintain fleet compliance by planning all scheduled maintenance tasks between hangar maintenance inputs and PSC’s requirements through liaison with Logistics, Engineers and Operations.
**Responsibilities**:
- Execute the short term planning of routine and non-routine fleet maintenance that falls within the 3 month responsibility scope, including the completion of ‘A’ check preparation and notify any deficiencies or issues arising to the MCE.
- Provide OOP planning during line maintenance operations including spares provisioning for defects and notify any deficiencies or issues arising to the MCE.
- Provide ADD planning, including any spares provisioning requirements and notify any deficiencies or issues arising to the MCE.
- To liaise with the MCE as necessary to ensure the all aircraft planned maintenance requirements are carried out and to re-plan any agreed shortfalls in the current plan.
- Issue Line Maintenance check packs, work orders and associated paperwork as required and ensure completion and forwarding to the appropriate department.
- Monitor and report any deficiencies in meeting the maintenance requirements throughout line stations.
- When required, update the hangar input plan and communicate to the MCE.
- Plan and distribute any ‘fly-away-pack’ requirements to the appropriate departments.
- Maintain the computer based Electronic Daily Log with required handover details for the area of their responsibility.
- Liaise with the MCE any configuration change requirement outside schedule requirements, and communicate the status to the appropriate departments.
- Use the Engineering GCIS system is aligned to the current aircraft status.
- Produce management reports, as required.
- Monitor and update the GCIS system with regard to the maintenance plan, spares, tooling requirements, etc.
- Maintain close communication with Fleet Engineering logistics to ensure all requirements are known.
- Alert the MCE Maintrol Manager and Fleet Engineering Manager of any deviation from check cycle limitations.
- Provide all bases with the latest due list forecasts, when required, IAW the GCIS.
- Support the Maintenance Control Engineer as required.
- Be personally responsible for engaging in all facets of the role in line with the requirements of the ATrS SMS, Quality and Environmental Management Systems to provide a safe and efficient outcome to all that you do.This Includes maintaining awareness of the company safety and quality policies and the hazard analyses applicable to your tasking.

- Demonstrable planning knowledge and experience
- Worked in an aviation environment within a planning function
- Demonstrable capability to review and understand work packs and interpret the requirements and format into a workable plan.
