An experienced Supply Chain Manager is required to join a growing cleantech business. You will manage and coordinate all elements of the organisation's supply chain to ensure the right amount of product is made and distributed to the customers at the righttime and an at the right level of quality.

**Responsibilities**
- Work with all functions function to communicate clear delivery strategy and tactical plan
- Be member of senior management team.
- Develop and implement a reporting structure for internal use defining appropriate KPI's
- Manage the Planning, Logistics, Quality and Procurement functions including staff development plans and training.
- Lead S&OP function and manage inputs to this process and issue necessary reports.
- Work with procurement managers and buyers to source the right products.
- Negotiate contracts with suppliers and customers.
- Control manufacturing and delivery processes.
- Plan and implement logístical strategy, ensuring targets are met.
- Oversee product storage, handling and distribution.
- Use computer software to track goods from origin to delivery.
- Work on forecasts and inventories, keeping an accurate record of the process and analysing performance.
- Manage the costs involved while maintaining quality.
- Awareness of exactly what is happening throughout the supply chain.
- Manage and motivate a team of supply chain team.
- Improve the overall supply chain performance and look for any possible innovations to the process.
- Develop new and existing relationships with suppliers.
- Manage and minimise the risks (for example operational or reputational) that could affect or interrupt the supply chain.
- Consider the environmental impact of the supply chain to meet sustainability targets.
- Implement new technologies and stay alert to new trends and developments in the sector.
- Supply chain quality management -systems-based approach to quality improvement integrating upstream /downstream supply chain partners and leverages opportunities with a focus on creating value for customers.

**Skill and Experience**
- Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- CIPS qualified.
- 5 plus years of experience in supply chain management, preferably operations, warehouse, quality ,manufacturing and purchasing leadership.
- Demonstrate ability to manage logistics of all aspects of supply chain, from product development to the shipment of finished items.
- Demonstrate strong negotiation and communication skills that support decision and action while building lasting relationships.
- Demonstrate Strong skills in IT and data handling.
- Demonstrate experience in scale up of light manufacturing and distribution organisation
