**OLE Senior Supervisor - Coatbridge**:
**Your tasks**:
- Supervision of OLE teams engaged on OLE projects undertaken by SPL Powerlines UK Limited.
- Responsibility of ensuring company property is treated in an appropriate manner, including company vehicles, and other company property e.g. tools and machinery.
- Ensure the allocated team report for duty as per the issued roster and correct vehicles are utilised as per the issued van allocation and raising in the appropriate manner any issues or concerns.
- When working on specific projects, to work alongside the Construction Manager and Project Manager to ensure record keeping is accurate and relevant sign offs are in place.
- Co-ordinate with Construction Manager to ensure that daily works reports are fully completed for each shift and are submitted to Head Office
- Close and frequent communication with OLE engineers, Construction Manager and other site supervision to relay information.
- Ensure that “for construction” project specific drawings and specifications are used
- When working alongside other contractors on site, liaise with their site supervision to avoid any conflicts
- Ensure that site teams have the required level of protection staff i.e. COSS, machine controller, look out etc as well as ensuring that all tools / plant and equipment required are available and where applicable are tested with certificates.
- Work to project specific risk assessments, work package plans and task briefing sheets at all times, formerly known as “method statements”
- Ensure that you give a briefing to all your staff regarding the work to be carried out including the content of risk assessments, work package plans and task briefing sheets.
- Ensure that you and your staff receive a briefing from your COSS regarding the railway safety protection in place i.e. possession details, isolation details etc.
- Carry out regular site inspections to monitor progress and check quality of installation
- Work to project specific risk assessments and method statements at all times.
- Ensure that all environmental issues are adhered to within the Company’s requirements.
- Any other duties in order to support the business and delivery of process and procedure both on and off site.
- Line Management responsibility for the team to support and assist as required, provide guidance and mentorship as necessary.
- Leader of ensuring safe work practices and requirement to promote a positive company culture within the team.
**Your profile**:
- Experience in a supervising role for OLE projects for a minimum of 2 years.
- Experience in management of members of the team and other employees.
- Valid PTS and OLEC 3 plus elements qualifications
- Good level of computer literacy including various software programme.
- Willingness to travel and to learn and open minded for new technologies
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team and support as required
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Full driving licence and vehicle
- Excellent interpersonal skills with an approachable attitude.
- The ability to stay calm and meet deadlines under pressures..
- Ability to lead, mentor and guide and support the teams.
- Leader of safe work practices and able to promote a positive culture within the teams.
