We are looking for an experienced Support Assistant to join our team at North Lanarkshire Council.

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the well-being and safety of our students during meal times. You will work collaboratively as part of a team to supervise children in the dining hall or other areas of the school, providing support and promoting positive behavior in line with Council policies and procedures.

The ideal candidate will have a basic knowledge of hygiene and cleanliness principles and experience working with children in a school setting or voluntary capacity.

Job Requirements:

  1. Experience working with children in a school setting or voluntary capacity
  2. Basic knowledge of hygiene and cleanliness principles
  3. Ability to effectively interact with children who have additional needs

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is £23,614 - £24,062 per annum, pro rata. As a member of our team, you will also benefit from our commitment to flexible working arrangements and our Disability Confident Leader status.
