Job Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Accounts Trainee. As an Accounts Trainee, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various accounting tasks and develop your skills in financial management. This is an entry-level position that offers growth potential within our organization.
**Responsibilities**:
- Assist with accounts preparation for multiple different entities including sole traders / limited companies
- Reconcile bank statements and analysis bank transactions
- Data entry for bookkeeping and VAT returns
- Maintain accurate and organized financial records
- Assist with payroll production, including entering data, running payroll reports for clients and preparing information for submission to HMRC & pension providers
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
- Utilize accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, and Sage to perform daily tasks
**Requirements**:
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Familiarity with accounting software (Xero, QuickBooks, Sage)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
