Furniture Porter/driver/packer

**Role overview**
- _Dismantling and re-assembling of furniture_
- _Loading and unloading vans at new destinations, whilst following client instructions._
- . Local and long distance removals_
- As a team player, becoming a valuable member of the team, can lead to further prospects within the company. Days start and finish times may vary according to the removal system of buying and selling property._

**What is the working environment like?**
- This is a hard, working environment working within the time restraints of buying property. With lifting, packing boxes, and unpacking of vans, following the instructions of clients at new destinations. Days can start early and finish late. The average week working 30 hours plus per week. There can be down time through the day whilst we wait for the solicitors and collecting keys for the receiving property._

**Main duties / responsibilities include**
- The requirements of the job include:_
- _Driving/Packing Vehicles_
- _Being responsible for Vehicle/Load/Crew Safety_
- _Being honest, transparent, responsible, and professional to clients_
- _Have an excellent attitude towards client property_
- _Good timekeeper_
- _Good team player_
- _Ability to work the most effective manner loading/unloading vans._
- _Full UK drivers’ license_
- _Previous experience desired._

- _Conscientious with clients’ possessions_
- _Must have own initiative_
- _To be polite having excellent attitudes_
- _Good timekeeping_

**Skills needed for the role**
- _Punctual being a good timekeeper_

- _This is a manual labour role which requires hard work._

**Desirable / Essential experience / qualifications**
- _Previous moving experience would be advantageous_
- _Have own transport to get to base_
- _Good team working skills_
- _Customer services_
- _Packing and wrapping skills_
- _Honest and transparent_
- This can be a great job with comradery, team working. It is hard labour but seeing the clients at the end destination, with excellent customer care can be rewarding._

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Zero hours contract
Contract length: 12 months
Part-time hours: 30 per week

**Salary**: £11.00-£13.00 per hour
