Sho in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery

North Cumbria Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust (NCIC) is seeking to recruit a dynamic and enthusiastic SHO in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery.
The successful applicant will be based at Cumberland Infirmary Carlisle (CIC) however, as with all NCIC appointments, will also be required to work at our hospital in Whitehaven or in outlying clinics to provide a service to the whole of North Cumbria.
This post will provide the post holder with knowledge, skills and experience in oral and maxillofacial surgery, with the aim of gaining personal and professional career progression. Whilst in post, the post-holder will gain knowledge and experience of oral surgery within a maxillofacial surgery department. This will include minor oral and maxillofacial surgery under local anaesthesia, IV sedation and general anaesthesia. Experience in the management of inpatients for acute and elective surgery will also be provided, including opportunities to learn the techniques of management of maxillofacial trauma.

**Standard Check**: £18 + Administration cost of £3.85 = £21.85. Deducted at £6.85 from 1st month salary and £5 deducted from salary over following 3 months.
**Enhanced Check**: £38 + administration cost of £3.90 = £41.90. Deducted at £11.90 from 1st month salary and £10 deducted from salary over following 3 months.
