**Job summary**:
You will provide specialist, technical and practical health and safety advice, support and management within the trust.
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Supporting the review and development plan to meet all current and future health and safety needs of the trust
- Providing exceptional expertise in all areas of health & safety to ensure the Trust remains fully compliant will all required safety and legal obligations.
- Outlining the risk assessment process.
- Other duties will be required
- Degree Level and NEBOSH Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent experience.
- Chartered Member of IOSH with CPD record for the last 3 years.
- A minimum of 5 years highly specialist knowledge and detailed experience in health, safety within the NHS.
- Experience of managing staff and teams.
- High specialist practical knowledge and understanding of the risk assessment process.
