Buying apprentice

**Reports to**: Head of Buying

**Location**: Support Centre, Manchester

A great opportunity to join the UK's largest drinks distributor The Buying Apprentice is responsible for providing a pro-active, day-to-day general administrative function within the office.

Main duties
- Price change checking
- Duty changes
- New Product listings
- Supplier meeting support - minutes, pre meeting volume reporting, post meeting reviews
- Shadowing each category buyer to gain experience and gain knowledge of each category and processes
- Gather, interpret and present product data.
- Create and send internal comms.
- Fulfil internal stakeholders information requests.
- Gain understanding of company business drivers.
- Gain understanding of full stock systems process.
- Gain understanding of product life cycles and Buying team role in managing them.
