Support Worker

You'll join us in supporting 5 adults to enjoy a wide range of interests and hobbies. Outdoor activities like picnics, horse riding, swimming and walking are popular. Within their own home they enjoy puzzles, browsing magazines, listening and dancing to music, Abba are a real favourite. What they all have in common is wanting to live a better life.

We help them develop independence around the tasks of everyday living such as cooking, cleaning, and paying bills, at the same time as supporting them with their health and wellbeing. We strive to find new opportunities for everyone and to make every day better.

Our team of 21 support workers cover a range of shift patterns over a 7 day week to provide the required 24 hour support. We can offer either full or part-time hours.

Working at MacIntyre can be a lot of fun and you don't need any experience as we will train you.

**About you**
Experience isn’t always necessary. If you have the right attitude, good customer service skills, share our values and are willing to learn, you’re likely to be a great fit. We are looking for people who celebrate differences, and we strive to make all our staff feel included, valued and respected.

You must be a driver with a manual licence, as you will be driving service vehicles.

**Training and Development**

At Macintyre we fully support your training and development. We know it can be daunting to start a new job, and not everyone learns the same way, so throughout your probation we will provide you with a mixture of eLearning, face-to-face training and mentoring support whilst on the job.

But it doesn't stop there - throughout your career with us you will have access to our own dedicated in house Learning and Development team, Quality Specialists and HR Teams. These teams, along with your Manager, will provide you with opportunities to learn and develop professionally as well as enabling and supporting you to achieve professional qualifications and career progression opportunities - all free of charge.
