We are now looking to recruit a Paint Plant Operative/Quality Controller to join our team. If you have experience preparing various materials or parts, then this could be the role for you

This is a great opportunity for a hands-on individual to join our team, working for a market-leading organization.

**Duties include**:
Preparing products and parts to be painted

Using a variety of hand and power tools to prepare parts for painting

Checking quality from production

Ensuring orders are correct from production

Quality checking painted products to ensure there are no faults

Parts to be packed correctly and safely to meet Health and Safety

Carding finished products ready to be wrapped

Taking stillages of products to despatch department using forklift

Upkeep of all documentation relating to the orders

General housekeeping, keeping workspaces clean and safe

You may be asked to undertake reasonable overtime or shift work as and when the business requires it

The above is the normal requirements, however you may be required from time to time undertake duties not foreseen above but within your capability

This role requires somebody who is both able to carry out the physical side of the role and the detailed accuracy required when checking all products. A forklift licence is a requirement.

Experience in a similar role accepting deliveries

Excellent planning and organisational skills

Good attention to detail

Good communicator

Enthusiastic, approachable, polite and helpful manner with the ability to remain calm and friendly under pressure

Ability to work with mínimal supervision, and a good team player with experience of working within a factory setting and a willingness to contribute fully and flexibly as part of the overall team

Reliable and trustworthy

Committed to providing excellent customer service

Powder coating experience would be an advantage

Previous experience in a similar role, preparing different products for packing is desirable

Current forklift truck licence

**Schedule**

Day Shift

Monday to Friday

Monday - Thursday 8am - 4.30pm

Friday - 8 am - 3.30pm

Christmas closedown

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £11.44-£12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 41.5 per week
